Mission & Main Features

Schiller International University was established in 1964 by Prof. Dr. Walter Leibrecht, laying the foundation of what was to become a small and independent university offering its students an education of high quality.


Mission & Philosophy:

"Our educational mission is to prepare students, personally and professionally, for future leadership roles in an international setting".

Main Characteristics:

· Schiller gives students the opportunity to transfer from one campus to another, from one country to another (6 countries & 8 campuses), remaining in the same university without loss of time or credit.
· Small classes where each student counts, is taken seriously, and where faculty members know students by name.
· Emphasis on professionalism and the effective communication skills; but also on the education of the entire individual, developing the student's ability to think creatively and critically, the student's entrepreneurial spirit and personal initiative
· International focus of the university through the study program and the mix of cultures and nationalities

Schiller faculty members are carefully selected not only for the quality of their educational background, but also for their practical experience in their field of expertise.
