The Schiller Paris team is pleased to assist you in identifying a suitable option for your circumstances. Please note, however, that Schiller Paris cannot provide legal advice and is not affiliated with any provider of student accommodation. This information is provided as a general guide only.
Private student accommodation/housing at the Schiller Paris Campus is handled in the following manner:
- One week prior to the registration date of the relevant session we will help you to identify an appropriate housing arrangements by contacting the private landlords or housing agencies.
- The interested student must personally inspect the housing offered and make the arrangements directly with the landlord. The Paris campus acts only to help facilitate an introduction between the two interested parties.
Students should plan for a minimum of a two-week stay in temporary lodging before you obtain appropriate housing. The housing market in Paris is traditionally very tight, especially in the field of student accommodation.
As a rough guide, you should plan on these amounts for accommodation. These are intended as a general guide only and prices may fluctuate, including exchange rate variations between the Euro and your home-country currency:
Furnished room (shared bath & kitchen) € 400-500 per month
Independent room (difficult to find) € 500-600 per month
Studio (1 room plus bath and kitchen) € 600-800 per month
Apartment (2 rooms) € 800- 1100 per month
You can also try to find a room in a student residence (“foyer”).
We recommend that your budget transitional hotel cost of at least € 40 per night.
